How to Integrate FluidPay With Gunbroker Checkout

Generate Your API Key

Log into Fluidpay, and in the upper right hand corner of your screen, click your account dropdown and select ‘Manage API Keys’.

1. Create a new API key specifically for gunbroker.com by clicking the ‘Add New API Key’ button at the bottom of the screen.
2. Under ‘Select Type’, select ‘Private’.
3. Create a name for the key under ‘Enter name for the API key’. In this case we’re calling it ‘GunBroker.com’.
4. Clicking the eyeball icon next to your new API key will reveal the key itself. Copy this key. 

Integrate With Gunbroker.com

1. When logged into Gunbroker.com, select ‘Toolbox’ in the upper right hand menu. From there, click the ‘View’ button next to ‘Checkout Setup’.
2. Select the ‘Edit’ button next to Paymennt Gateway.
3. Select your payment gateway, in this case we’re using FluidPay.
4. Set ‘Transaction Type’ to ‘Authorize and Capture’.
5. Enter your API key in the ‘FluidPay API Key’ field.
6. Under ‘Cash Discount Percentage’, you can enter any value you want, we usually recommend 3%.
7. Click ‘Save All Changes’
8. You can now test your gateway using the ‘Test Gateway’ button.
