Integrating A Payment Gateway With Woocommerce
Install and Activate the Payment Gateway Plugin
- Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
- Navigate to Plugins > Add New.
- Search for your preferred payment gateway plugin (e.g., “WooCommerce Authorize.net Payment Gateway”)
- Click Install Now and then Activate the plugin.
Configure the Payment Gateway
- Go to WooCommerce > Settings.
- Click on the Payments tab.
- Locate the installed payment gateway and click Set up or Manage.
- Enter the required credentials, such as API keys, secret keys, or merchant account details. (These can be obtained from Electronic Transfer, Inc. Call us if you need these items).
- Save the settings.
Test the Payment Gateway
- Enable Sandbox Mode (if available) to test transactions without real money.
- Perform a test transaction by adding a product to your cart and proceeding to checkout.
- Verify if the payment process works correctly.
- Check the WooCommerce Orders section to confirm successful payments.
Enable Live Transactions
- Once testing is successful, switch to Live Mode in the payment gateway settings.
- Ensure all API credentials are correct for real transactions.
- Save the settings.

Monitor Transactions and Troubleshoot
- Regularly check transactions in WooCommerce > Orders.
